7 mm Low-Gamma 10 kHz MAS Probe
830 MHz, 31 mm magnet

Purpose

Part of the 29 mm family of probes designed for the narrow space of our high-field, 830 MHz NMR magnet.  This large sample MAS probe is made for applications where inherent lack of sensitivity can be compensated by large sample volume.  Maximum sample spinning speed is 10 kHz.  The probe can be tuned to different low-gamma nuclei by switching interchangeable frequency inserts as explained below.  This and other MAS probes (2.0 and 4.0 mm) constructed for this unique narrow bore magnet, incorporate MAS stators that were custom-designed by Ago Samosan at the Institute of Chemical and Biological Physics in Tallinn, Estonia.

Tuning Table

Use this table to select frequency inserts for your nucleus+.  Tuning range for each insert is defined as a frequency range where reflection at resonance is < -35dB with a solids sample.  Note that using solution samples may shift the resonance outside of that range.
