Upper Variable Temperature Stack
600 MHz, 89 mm magnet

This variable temperature stack was originally built to integrate Varian-Chemagnetics MAS probes with 600 MHz wide-bore Bruker spectrometer. It was designed with interchangeable probe mating interface. The upper stack is used extensively for solid state NMR of membrane proteins with home-built large sample 15N-1H PISEMA probes. It is fully compatible with Bruker console and can be programmed directly from the screen of spectrometer. One of advantages of using upper stack is a gain of space inside probehead for high-voltage RF components when high power handling is a must.

  • Temperature range: -150°C to +200°C
  • Operated from top of 600 MHz, 89 mm magnet.

  • Can be used in our other wide bore magnets, such as 300 and 400 MHz.
