CPMAS: Improved Resolution at 900 MHz
Joanna Long (UF)

5 kHz CPMAS of *G*GV at 9.4 and 21.1 Tesla (carbonyl region). Inset is an expansion of the isotropic chemical shifts. Spectra are plotted on a constant frequency axis. Increased linewidths for the amide carbonyls at 9.4T are due to quadrupolar broadening from 14N in the amide bonds. The glycine carbonyls differ in chemical shifts by 0.43 ppm. Linewidths with and without adjacent 14N are 80 and 40 Hz at 9.4T and 65 and 40 Hz at 21.1T.

Homonuclear Dipolar Recoupling at 900 MHz
Joanna Long (UF)

CPMAS and DQ filtered spectra of *G*GV at 900 MHz, 5 kHz MAS. Top right panel compares the DQ buildup behaviour at three fields (points are experiment, curves are numerical simulations). Bottom right panel shows the field dependence of the maximum achieavable DQ filtered signal using current pulse sequence and rf technology.
